(L.A.) Asherey Ryan, 23, Died on a Street

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 23-year-old Black female that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Asherey Ryan.

Cause of Death: Blunt Trauma

RIP ASHEREY RYAN (September 15, 1998 – August 4, 2022)

The decedent was one of six who died in a fiery crash at La Brea and Sepulveda avenues in the Windsor Hills area. The incident happened at around 1:40 p.m. on a Thursday.

Among the dead are her 11-month-old child Alonzo Quintero; her boyfriend Reynold Lester; and their unborn son Armani. Ryan was 8½ months pregnant with Armani when she was killed.

A nurse from Houston accused of running a red light and speeding into the intersection has been charged with six counts of murder. Nicole Lorraine Linton, 37, was also charged with five counts of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence. L.A. County District Attorney George Gascón said his office cannot file the manslaughter charge in a case involving an unborn child.
