(L.A.) Arthur Gutierrez, 28, Died From Drug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Arthur Gutierrez.

Cause of Death: Effects of Alprazolam and Fentanyl

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 8:45 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late March, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Arthur Gutierrez” in public records.
