Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old Black female that occurred in a motel.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Argatha Jones.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Cocaine, Methamphetamine and Fentanyl

RIP ARGATHA JONES (May 3, 1985 – May 15, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 6:10 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on June 13, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
