Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old Black female that occurred in a nursing home.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as April Jeter.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Blunt Head Trauma

Other Significant Conditions: History of Cocaine, Ethanol, and Phencyclidine Use

RIP APRIL JETER (November 28, 1960 – February 3, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 4:50 p.m.
