(L.A.) Anthony Williams, 56, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old Black male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Anthony Williams.

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Cocaine

RIP ANTHONY WILLIAMS (August 25, 1968 – January 13, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 9:56 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on March 17, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from positive from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, overdose.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Anthony Williams” in public records.
