Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 65-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Anthony Veasley.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP ANTHONY VEASLEY (November 4, 1958 – May 30, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 4:15 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in late August, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
