The coroner’s office has identified the man as Anthony Bates.

Born in Ventura County. Mother’s maiden name is Velasquez.

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Diabetes Mellitus

Other Significant Conditions: Hypertension and Chronic Wound of the Right Lower Extremity
