Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 65-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Anna Montanez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Morbid Obesity and Recent Cocaine Use

RIP ANNA MONTANEZ (September 29, 1958 – July 1, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 9:35 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early September.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
