Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 52-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Angelo Lozano.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Sequelae of Diabetes Mellitus Type 2
Other Significant Conditions: Hypertension, Peripheral Vascular Disease, Effects of Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 1:55 p.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 17, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.
This is considered an accidental overdose.
Methamphetamine is a powerful stimulant that can cause significant fluctuations in blood glucose levels. It can lead to hyperglycemia (elevated blood sugar levels) or hypoglycemia (low blood sugar levels), both of which are dangerous for people with diabetes.
