(L.A.) Angelina Lipanovich, 16, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 16-year-old female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the teenage girl as Angelina Lipanovich and listed her race/ethnicity as Hispanic [sic].

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Fentanyl Intoxication

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday morning.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 16, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

The surname Lipanovich is Russian but with high prevalence in Argentina.
