(L.A.) Angel Gonzales, 30, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Angel Gonzales.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity

RIP ANGEL GONZALES (July 19, 1994 – May 30, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 16, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
