(L.A.) Andres Vargas, 41, Died in a Tent

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old male that occurred in a tent.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Andres Vargas and his race/ethnicity was listed as Hispanic/Latino + White/Caucasian.

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 4:20 a.m.

The decedent was presumably what the government calls unhoused or a PEH, a person experiencing homelessness.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 4, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
