(L.A.) Anabella Noj Ixcol, 25, Died in a Hospital 🧁

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old female of Hispanic/Latin American ethnicity that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the young woman as Anabella Noj Ixcol.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Meningoencephalitis

Cause of Death B: Myocoplasma Tuberculosis Infection

RIP ANABELLA NOJ IXCOL (September 5, 1997 – February 8, 2023)

The decedent’s death was covered by Spanish-language media.

She apparently had left Guatemala in January 2021 in hopes of a better life in the United States. Her family back home is asking for donations to help repatriate her body.

As of February 25, her body is still at the medical examiner’s office of L.A. County waiting for a claimant to pick it up.
