Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a tent.
The coroner’s office identified the woman as Amanda Lopez.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Shotgun Wound Injuries of Left Arm and Chest

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 2:45 a.m.
The decedent was shot to death by a masked assailant inside a tent near a homeless encampment on the 200 block of South Fetterly Avenue in front of the East L.A. field office of L.A. County Supervisor Hilda Solis.
Amanda Lopez was one of three people known to have been murdered by serial killer Anthony Velasquez over a period of four years.
