Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Hispanic male that occurred on a street.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Jesus Avalos.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 3:35 a.m.
The decedent was one of three people known to have been murdered by serial killer Anthony Velasquez over a four-year period.
Avalos was shot to death on Telegraph Road, adjacent to the 5 Freeway and Bristow Park in Commerce / East L.A. He had received a call from an acquaintance asking him to go to the location to jump-start a vehicle, and went there to help.
He was found lifeless, still in the driver’s seat of his SUV.
