(L.A.) Alvaro Jimenez Mendez, 44, Died in an Abandoned Building

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old Latino male that occurred in an abandoned building.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Alvaro Jimenez Mendez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

As of February 8, the decedent’s body still has not be picked up by a funeral home.
