Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old Latino male that occurred in a motel.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Alexander Rivas. Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Martinez.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 10:44 p.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 19, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug.
