(L.A.) Alexander Belousov, 78, Ended His Life

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 78-year-old Caucasian male that occurred in jail.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Alexander Belousov of Encino.

Height: 6 feet / Weight 220 pounds

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Hanging

RIP ALEXANDRE MICHAILOV BELOUSOV (January 11, 1944 – December 7, 2022)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 7:39 a.m.

The decedent had been committed by a court to state prison after pleading guilty to PC288(b)(1)-F Forcible Lewd Act upon a Child.

He was sentenced to 10 years and as of the sentencing date on October 12, 2022, had already served 272 days.

Offense date was May 23, 2019, in Van Nuys. He was arrested on January 14, 2022, and had been charged with seven counts. After pleading nolo contendere to that one charge, the other six charges were dismissed. The child was younger than 10 years old.
