(L.A.) Alex Meza, 37, Died in a Vehicle

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 37-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Alex Meza.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Cocaine, Ethanol, and Methamphetamine

RIP ALEX MEZA (December 7, 1987 – July 11, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-September, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
