(L.A.) Alessandro Ponce Sunsin, 20, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 20-year-old Hispanic male that occurred on a sidewalk.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Alessandro Ponce Sunsin.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 12:41 p.m.
The decedent was Latino / Central American / Honduran.
He died from a fentanyl overdose, making him the third Latino teen, and the fourth under 30, to die of an overdose in Southern California in the last two weeks alone.

According to his aunt, a dealer told him to “take three of those pills to relax” and passed him a bottle of alcohol with the pills.
Melani Ramos, 15, died in Hollywood on September 12.
Luna Hinojosa, 14, died on September 10 in La Puente.
Eli Rodríguez, 27, died on Setempber 17 in San Bernardino.
