Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Alejandro Lopez Sanz.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP ALEJANDRO LOPEZ SANZ (May 22, 1991 – October 19, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 7:49 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 24.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
