(L.A.) Alberto Castillo, 16, Died on a Roadway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 16-year-old Latino male that occurred on a roadway.

The coroner’s office identified the teen as Alberto Castillo of Newhall.

Cause of Death: Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday.

The decedent was on a skateboard when he was hit by a pickup truck.

L.A. County FD said their personnel were dispatched at 11:19 p.m. to the 23500 block of West Lyons Avenue in Newhall.
