Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old Latino male that occurred in a nursing home.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Albert Martinez.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Congestive Heart Failure

Cause of Death B: Obesity

Other Significant Conditions: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and Diabetes Mellitus, Unknown Type

RIP ALBERT PAUL MARTINEZ (July 11, 1968 – February 26, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 9:06 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in August.

Local government authorities had the decedent’s body cremated on March 25.
