(L.A.) Ajoni Hooks-Stuckey, 25, Died on a Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old Black male that occurred on a freeway.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Ajoni Hooks-Stuckey.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Traumatic Asphyxia

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday morning.

The decedent was fatally injured when the vehicle he was driving crashed on a freeway connector road near Paramount.

California Highway Patrol responded at 1:19 a.m. to the transition road from the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway to the westbound Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway where an SUV had flipped onto its roof on the transition road.
