Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old Caucasian female that occurred at her residence.
The coroner’s office identified the woman as Mary Wilkinson.
Manner of Death: Suicide
Cause of Death: Acute Imipramine Intoxication

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 12:25 a.m.
Imipramine is a medication used in the treatment of depression and anxiety. It has a black-box warning from the FDA. The warning states that antidepressants, including imipramine, can increase the risk of suicidal thoughts and behavior.
Since the year 2000, there have been at least 11 records mentioning imipraminein the medical examiner’s database.
Note that there are multiple decedents named “Mary Wilkinson” in public records.
