(L.A.) Santos Sonsajche, 22, Died From Substance Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 22-year-old Hispanic male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the young man as Santos Sonsajche.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Ethanol Toxicity

RIP SANTOS SONSAJCHE (October 1, 1999 – March 22, 2022)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 8:13 a.m.

The government investigator noted that the decedent was indigent and homeless. The archdiocese has also indicated that the decedent was homeless and had his surname down as Sonsajche. “Son Sajche” (two words) is a Guatemalan surname.
