Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old Caucasian male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as James Self.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP JAMES SELF (September 3, 1960 – March 29, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 6:40 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 11, presumably after the results of tox screening came back negative for substances.
