Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old Latin American female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Consuelo Serrato.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Hemorrhagic Shock

Cause of Death B: Ruptured Aneurysm of the Right Renal Artery

Cause of Death C: Connective Tissue Disorder, Not Otherwise Specified

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 2:17 p.m.

Renal artery aneurysms are extremely uncommon with a reported incidence of less than one percent in the general population. They are being more frequently detected due to increasing availability and use of abdominal imaging.
