Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 73-year-old male of Latin American ethnicity that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jorge Fregoso.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Fentanyl, Fluorofentanyl, and Methamphetamine

RIP JORGE FREGOSO (May 28, 1949 – February 26, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 12:35 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 19, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
