Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Ricky Evans Jr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Effects

RIP RICKY EVANS JR. (1965 – October 12, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
