(L.A.) Ryan Butler, 50, Died in Lancaster Prison

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 50-year-old Black male that occurred in a prison cell [sic].
The coroner’s office identified the man as Ryan Butler.
Manner of Death: Natural
Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease
RIP RYAN KERWIN BUTLER (June 12, 1975 – December 10, 2025)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at the Triage and Treatment Area (TTA) of California State Prison, Los Angeles County (CSP-LAC).
There happened to be two unrelated in-custody deaths at CSP-LAC’s TTA on that day.
