The coroner’s office identified the man as Jerry Nicholl. Born in Orange County, California.

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Cocaine and Ethanol

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 2, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, substance overdose.
