(L.A.) Freddy Yemere, 32, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Freddy Yemere.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Metoclopramide and Ibuprofen Toxicity

RIP FREDDY YEMERE (July 12, 1993 – October 31, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

Metoclopramide is used to treat the symptoms of slow stomach emptying in patients with diabetes; taking it may cause tardive dyskinesia (a condition that causes uncontrollable muscle movement, especially in the face). Ibuprofen is Advil / Motrin.

The decedent was from Rwanda. He arrived in the United States in 2012 and graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in 2016 with a degree in computer science. He had been working in L.A. as a software engineer for the last nine years.
