(L.A.) Shanita Henderson, 49, Died in a Parking Lot

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Black female that occurred in a parking lot.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Shanita Henderson.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Pulmonary Thromboembolism

Cause of Death B: Deep Leg Vein Thrombosis

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early December, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
