Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 69-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Bobby Smith.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Asthma

RIP BOBBY SMITH (1955 – August 29, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on October 27.
