(L.A.) Brenda Pruitt, 65, Died at a Private Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 65-year-old Black female that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Brenda Pruitt.

Cause of Death: Effects of Cocaine, Fentanyl, and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 9, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, polydrug overdose.
