(L.A.) Jeferson Romero Romero, 21, Died on a Street

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 21-year-old Latino male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Jeferson Romero Romero.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday morning.

The decedent was fatally injured when he slammed into several parked cars just after 7:00 a.m. on Vernon Avenue near McKinley Avenue in South L.A.

Note that the government investigator had initially spelled the decedent’s name as Jefferson, the common spelling.
