(L.A.) Romell Thomas-Williams, a Baby, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the infant boy as Romell Thomas-Williams.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

The child was about eight and a half months old.

An atrial myxoma is a noncancerous tumor in the upper left or right side of the heart. It most often grows on the wall that separates the two sides of the heart. This wall is called the atrial septum.
