(L.A.) Oscar Davila, 19, Killed by Drunk LAPD Pig

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 19-year-old Hispanic male that occurred on a freeway.
The coroner’s office has identified the young man as Oscar Davila.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 10:33 p.m.
The decedent and his parents were killed by an off-duty LAPD cop who was driving under the influence at a speed of 150 miles per hour on the freeway.
California Highway Patrol said the incident happened at around 10:19 p.m. on the 605 near the Washington Boulevard exit. The drunk driver was traveling southbound in a 2016 Chevrolet in the HOV lanewhen he rear-ended two cars — a 2014 Nissan and a 2010 Scion.
This impact caused the Nissan to become fully engulfed in flames with three occupants trapped inside. All three were pronounced dead at the scene.
In April 2025, the pig Edgar Omar Verduzco pleaded guilty to three counts of murder, one count of driving under the influence of alcohol causing injury, and one count of driving with a 0.08% blood alcohol content causing injury. He faces three concurrent terms of 15 years to life in state prison for the murder charges and a concurrent three-year term for the DUI-related offenses. His sentencing is scheduled for July 11.
