The coroner’s office identified the infant girl as Zoe Arnwine.

Cause of Death: Primary Mitochondrial Disorder Due to Pathogenic Variant in MT-ATP6 Gene

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 7:50 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 10.

The MT-ATP6 gene provides information for making a protein that is essential for normal mitochondrial function.
