Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old male that occurred on a street.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Yashar Nikijan and listed his race/ethnicity as Middle Eastern or North African [sic].

Cause of Death: Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 8:05 p.m.
The decedent was most recently picked up by LAPD’s Hollywood Division on February 10. The case was adjudicated on February 27.
He had an extensive rap sheet that included arrests for burglary and narcotics possession. He may have been of Iranian / Persian descent.
