(L.A.) Jorge Escobar, 69, Died on a Street

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 69-year-old Latino male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jorge Escobar.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Myocardial Ischemia

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Medical History of Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

RIP JORGE ESCOBAR (June 6, 1955 – March 22, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 10:04 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 23.
