The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jose Mazariego.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Laennec Cirrhosis of Liver

Other Significant Condition: Diabetic Ketoacidosis

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 1:22 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 28.

Laënnec cirrhosis is primarily caused by excessive and chronic alcohol consumption.
