(L.A.) Steve Garduno, 27, Died From Polydrug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Steve Garduno.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Cocaine, Fentanyl, Alprazolam, and Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: Medical History of Asthma

RIP STEVE GARDUNO (July 18, 1997 – December 31, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 7:43 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-March, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
