Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 53-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Cynthia Mendoza.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Pneumonia

Cause of Death B: Influenza A Infection

Other Significant Conditions: Dilated Cardiomyopathy and Probable Diabetes Mellitus

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 12:29 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late February.
