The coroner’s office identified the woman as Tracey Bracey.

Cause of Death: Metastatic Pancreaticobiliary Adenocarcinoma

Other Significant Conditions: Hypertensive and Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease; Diabetes Mellitus; Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 10:56 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on February 9.

Metastatic pancreaticobiliary adenocarcinoma refers to a type of cancer that originates in the pancreas or the biliary tract and has spread to other parts of the body. This includes cancers such as pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma and ampullary adenocarcinoma of the pancreaticobiliary subtype.

The pancreas is a long, flat gland located behind the stomach and in front of the spine, extending from the duodenum to the spleen. It plays crucial roles in digestion and blood sugar regulation.
