(L.A.) Khouri Prins, 35, Died From Polydrug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Khouri Prins.

Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Hope.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Alprazolam, Cocaine, Mitragynine, and Oxycodone

RIP KHOURI JOSEPH PRINS (October 11, 1989 – December 6, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 7:26 p.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Mitragynine is the most abundant active alkaloid in the Southeast Asian plant Mitragyna speciosa, commonly known as kratom.
