(L.A.) Daniel Montiel, 24, Died From Polydrug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 24-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the young man as Daniel Montiel.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Methamphetamine, Cocaine, and Phencyclidine

RIP DANIEL MONTIEL (April 27, 2000 – November 4, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 10:15 p.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
