(L.A.) Loretta Myrick, 66, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old Black female that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Loretta Myrick.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Acute Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP LORETTA MYRICK (June 10, 1958 – September 11, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 12:08 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on January 7, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
