Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Sonyah Byson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine and Cocaine Effects

Other Significant Conditions: History of Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome; Sepsis with Bacteremia
